Harvard Club of DE - Summer stroll through Wilmington
We will be starting at 10:30 AM Sunday, September 10, 2023, from Trolley Square, an entertainment area in the city with several restaurants and clubs. There are parking lots located at Delaware Avenue and North Dupont Street. From there we will walk across the Brandywine Creek to the Jasper Crane Rose Garden and the Brandywine Zoo. We will continue down Market Street in Wilmington, which features the Grand Opera House, several of the city’s top restaurants, The Queen concert venue, and the Quoin Hotel. From there, we will return to Trolley Square, where anyone who would like to join us for lunch is welcome. The total walk will be about 3.5 miles on paved surfaces.
